Full Paediatric First Aid Course

Our Full Paediatric First Aid Course is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to emergencies involving infants and young children. This comprehensive course meets the requirements of the EYFS statutory framework, ensuring you are fully prepared to handle various situations with confidence.

Course Structure:

Blended Learning: The course combines 6 hours of online interactive pre-learning with 6 hours of practical, hands-on training. This flexible approach allows you to complete the online modules at your own pace before attending the face-to-face session.

Certification: Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. This course and certification meets the EYFS/OFSTED/HSE guidance 2025
The Full Paediatric First Aid Course is suitable for a wide range of individuals who work with or care for infants and young children. Specifically, it is ideal for:

  • Childcare Professionals: Nursery staff, pre-school workers, and childminders who need to meet EYFS statutory requirements.
  • Parents and Carers: Anyone responsible for the care of young children, ensuring they are prepared for emergencies.
  • Teachers and Teaching Assistants: School staff who work with young children and need to be equipped with first aid skills.
  • Early Years Educators: Individuals working towards an early years educator qualification.

This course is designed to provide essential lifesaving skills to anyone involved in the care and supervision of young children.

Course Structure:

Online Learning: Complete 6 hours of interactive pre-learning modules at your own pace. These modules cover essential first-aid knowledge and scenarios.

Practical Training: Attend a 6-hour face-to-face session where you will practice and refine your skills under the guidance of experienced trainers.
Learners will need to ensure they hold a level 2 qualification or equivalent in English language and can kneel on the floor to perform CPR and Recovery. Unfortunately, as this is work-based training, we cannot allow training room access to any persons under the age of 16 years.
